The 11th Ho Chi Minh City Ao Dai Festival 2025 serves as a vital bridge, elevating Vietnam's cultural identity and global integration!
Under the theme "Vietnamese Ao Dai – Elevating Vietnam", the festival is organized by the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, led by the Department of Tourism and the Ho Chi Minh City Women’s Union, in coordination with various departments, districts, and Thu Duc City. The event will take place from March 1 to March 9, 2025, featuring a diverse range of activities at key locations such as President Ho Chi Minh Statue Park and Nguyen Hue Walking Street, Lam Son Park in front of the Opera House, the Export Showroom at 92-96 Nguyen Hue, and various cultural and historical sites across the city. The festival not only celebrates the beauty and heritage of the Vietnamese Ao Dai but also stimulates economic growth by boosting tourism, fashion, handicrafts, and service industries. It provides a platform for businesses to expand market access, foster collaborations, and drive industry development.
In alignment with Ho Chi Minh City’s tourism strategy, which identifies event-driven tourism as one of its seven core pillars, the 2025 festival will integrate seamlessly with major national celebrations. With a target of welcoming 8.5 million international visitors, 45 million domestic tourists, and generating revenue of VND 260 trillion (13% of the city's GRDP), the festival is a key initiative in Ho Chi Minh City's 2025 tourism promotion efforts.
