On the evening of June 9, 2024, as part of the closing ceremony of the 2nd Ho Chi Minh City River Festival, residents and visitors were treated to exciting and spectacular water sports performances on the Saigon River.

 

 

The vibrant performances featured 100 water sports vehicles (including 7 sailing boats, 20 jet skis, 30 stand-up paddleboards, 20 jetboards, 5 flyboards; 10 kitesurfing boats, 5 paragliders) and 100 athletes (athletes) from the District 7 Water Sports Club; athletes Nguyen Uy Truong, Nguyen Hoang Trung, Nguyen Manh Dung are typical athletes of the surfing sport of Ho Chi Minh City sports…. In addition, there was a parade of 15 canoes, restaurant boats, yachts, river buses, double-decker river buses… decorated with colorful lights.

 

The impressive performance contributed to spreading the message calling on the city's people to join hands to protect the environment of canals, rivers and streams in the beloved city of Ho Chi Minh City and to say no to waste. It also brought residents and visitors an interesting weekend experience.
