On February 16 2022, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism publicised six tourist attractions eligible for the pilot program to welcome and serve international tourists, based on voluntary registration and qualified registration of businesses:
CENTRAL POST OFFICE
Designed by renowned French architect, Gustave Eiffel, the post office was built between 1886 and 1891. The post office is located beside the Notre Dame Cathedral. In terms of harmony in the city's architectural ensemble, this is a unique highlight of the city.

HO CHI MINH MUSEUM (DRAGON WHARF)
Ho Chi Minh Museum - Ho Chi Minh City Branch is located at 01 Nguyen Tat Thanh Street, District 4. The predecessor of the museum is the headquarters of the French Royal Transport Company (Nha Rong port) built according to a mixed Asian and European architecture, including 1 ground floor and 2 floors. In 1911, from this place, patriotic young man Nguyen Tat Thanh (President Ho Chi Minh) went to find a way to save the country for the Vietnamese revolution on the Admiral Latouche-Tréville ship. Since 1982, this place has been honored to be the space to store over 1,700 artifacts, documents and images related to the life and revolution of the great President Ho Chi Minh.

AO DAI MUSEUM
HISTORIC RELICS & CU CHI TUNNEL COMPLEX
The area is preserved as a war memorial, attracting tourists from all over the world, curious to see what underground life was like at the time. You probably knew all about the tunnels from documentaries and films but something about it to see them very first hand. The tunnels were used by Vietnamese soldiers as hiding spots and communication and supply routes during the war against the U.S invaders. Walking through the mine forests where you get to the tunnel premises to experience real insight into guerilla warfare. The tunnels have now been widened for the tourist by 30%, but are still a tight fit and not for the claustrophobic. It shows the Vietnamese perceive the war very differently from the Westerners that you have an insight into how the Viet Cong defended the country and how they lived during this time. It’s tremendously interesting and a very well-organized viewing program and exhibition. This is a highly informative and educational experience part of your Ho Chi Minh City trail.

RUNG SAC MILITARY BASE
During the Vietnam War, Can Gio Island was a revolutionary base of the North Vietnam soldiers. Take speed boats to “Sac” guerilla camp built deep in the jungle, giving the visitor a unique experience and a feel of what jungle battles must have been like. Taking a visit to the base which was stationed by Viet Cong from the period of 1966 -1975 and was used to be an important base camp to set up over 1,000 combats to Saigon. As the original base had been bombarded and seriously destroyed, the base still exists today as history and nature of the region as the current Rung Sac Military Base was reconstructed to portray the situation then.

SAIGON SKYDESK
The 68-storey tower with a height of 262m is located at the contiguous position of three roads Hai Trieu, Ngo Duc Ke and Ho Tung Mau, adjacent to Nguyen Hue pedestrian street. At night, the top of the tower lights up splendidly like a lighthouse in the heart of the city. The highlight of the tower is the "suspended" helipad on the 52nd floor like a blooming lotus bud, which took more than a year to complete. On the 49th floor, there is a 168m high Saigon Skydeck with a binocular system that allows you to meticulously observe all corners of the city, especially when the city lights up at night.
