As part of the Ho Chi Minh City International Tourism Expo (ITE HCMC 2024), the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism organized a booth to promote tourism, featuring a series of media publications and experience programs for visitors.
Taking place over three days, from September 5 to 7, 2024, the ITE HCMC 2024 welcomed 700 leaders from top organizations and companies in the tourism industry from 38 countries and territories. In addition to key tourism markets such as Australia, England, France, Germany, the USA, India, and the Middle East, ITE HCMC 2024 welcomed international buyers from Brazil, the Czech Republic, Bangladesh, and Pakistan for the first time. Notably, the participation of leading global travel groups such as Flight Center Travel Group (Australia), Intrepid (Australia), Collette (USA), and Exim Tour under the DERTour Group (Germany) opened up significant opportunities for expanding and promoting the international tourist market to Vietnam, while further enhancing the image and position of ITE HCMC in Asia.
The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism organized a booth at the Ho Chi Minh City International Tourism Fair (ITE HCMC 2024) to strongly promote the image of Ho Chi Minh City tourism to international visitors, contributing to the global dissemination of the Ho Chi Minh City tourism brand. The booth showcased various promotional materials, including brochures, flyers, postcards featuring tourist destinations in the city, travel maps, culinary and healthcare guides, and promotional materials for waterway tourism. This initiative not only introduced both domestic and international visitors to the city’s rich tourism potential but also aimed to present the image of Ho Chi Minh City as 'Open - Young - Vibrant - Exciting - Future-oriented' to travelers worldwide.
Participating in the Ho Chi Minh City tourism promotion booth were partner units such as Mr. Biker Saigon, Le Meridien, Renaissance, Liberty, Saco Travel, LaCàphe, and ACV. Notably, LaCàphe provided high-quality coffee and organized mini-coffee workshops to offer attendees an enjoyable and hands-on experience. Additionally, the Saigon Dòng Dòng organization hosted a recycling bag-making workshop at the Ho Chi Minh City tourism promotion booth.
Throughout the three days of the expo, visitors had the opportunity to participate in a lucky draw program with a total prize value of hundreds of millions of VND. Lucky customers could win prizes, including domestic and international tour packages valued at tens of millions of VND, as well as vouchers for premium experiences such as cruises, tours, and wellness services. Additionally, there were thousands of other valuable travel-related prizes.
